Day Nine - Carlos Santana or Dan??

Santana - Samba Pa Ti

Perfect Tim(ing) w/ Coffee - (Absolutely True Events)

Coffee is great. Some coffee is superior to others. The Kyoto Iced Coffee's aftertaste at bb coffee company in sf is undertones of dark chocolate.

It's really amazing how they do that. Apparently, their coffee machines cost an exorbitant and obscene amount of money. And they're also obsessive about brewing great coffee.

I drank most of the Kyoto Iced, but left the rest at the bottom of the paper cup which I left overnight in my car's cup-holder.

This morning I went to Starbucks to get the newspaper. After I parked, I decided to throw out the Kyoto I left in my car and the other paper coffee cup next to it from days gone by. I don't remember how long the other cup had been there. So I picked both of them up and headed across the parking lot to Starbucks.

As I'm crossing the asphalt expanse, I see an enormous Tow Truck parked in front of Starbucks. And it's one of those huge yellow and blue variety of Tow Trucks. The kind where one of it's front tires is almost as big as you are. Chest-high, you know? Just gigantic.

But, real.

So as I walk across the lot, two fisting coffee cups, two employees from the starbucks morning shift walk past me and one of them, they're walking side by side, the one closest to me says, '...Carlos Santana or Dan....' to the other.

Two seconds later, and I swear to this, because this kind of stuff happens to me all the time, I look up as the Tow Truck Driver climbs into the Tow Truck and when he turns on the truck ^-^ Samba Pa Ti starts playing on his radio.

The timing of the words with the music was so uncanny, so brilliant, so incredible, that I immediately smiled and my day brightened up that much more.

(And this Dan guy? Marino? The Automator? Defeat Autism Now?)
